This photobook is the outcome of a workshop led by artist and photographer Maisie Cousins in collaboration with Bachelor Photography students at ECAL/University of Art and Design Lausanne. Using macro photography, students explored how to transform everyday household items into carefully composed visual arrangements. Working within a defined framework, they experimented with objects found at home: kitchen utensils, big spoons, colorful plates, mouldy fruit, small toys, and fragments of curious plastic debris. The Maisie Cuisine Book brings together these playful and unexpected “recipes”, offering a fresh and imaginative eye on the ordinary.
