For a year, the Swiss photographer Nicolas Faure worked with 15 third-year students from ECAL Bachelor Photography in the city of Renens. They tackled various themes: from documentary of the African community, teenagers at school or at the swimming pool, to the standardised life of the offices or to the intimacy of retirement homes. This book and the exhibition are aimed at everyone from young Renanese to people living well beyond this territory.
