A world, with its complexity and contradictions: this is what emerges from the research project L’Assemblée des écritures conducted at ECAL / École cantonale d’art de Lausanne.
Conceived as a shared space for writing and reflection, this Assembly questions contemporary forms of text and their relationships with the visual arts.
Designed within the deliberately condensed timeframe of a year of collective work, punctuated by exchanges, experiments, and confrontations of practices, this book embraces the speed of its production as the embodiment of a necessity: responding to the common urgency to write and to think.
